Ok so I like to smell things. I'm so use to smelling i do it with out even knowing usually it's my hand but somtimes I smell other things and things that most ppl think smell bad smell good to me is it normal????!?!?!?!?!
Some people are better at smelling than others.. you probably smell things they can't, or get more enjoyment out of it than they do. Just like some people like certain foods or going hiking more than others do.
I smell a lot of things but only to judge it's cleanliness. I get a lot of funny looks though.
Everyone likes being connected with their environment - some people will look extra hard at detail on a leaf, others might automatically reach out to touch something with an interesting texture - you know babies put stuff in their mouths? It's because it's a new thing for them and they want to understand it better. You, as a random individual with preferences ect, like to smell things. Perfectly normal! ^^
I used to do it when I was growing up, mostly I'd smell food before I ate it but I grew out of it.
