Is it normal to like smell of gasoline

Ok well I like the smell of gasoline. I know a lot of people who don't. But please know I dont try to get high from it or anything like that. I just like it when I'm pumping gas in my car. I like the smell, also I like the smell of white out, paint, markers, nail polish/ remover, rubbing alcohol. Is that normal? And like I said I do not try to get a high from these things and never have. I just like the way it smells. Idk why???

    I love the scent of gasoline. It makes my mouth water. I wish there were gasoline-scented candles.

    I love the smell of all those things as well.Maybe because they have a strong pleasing smell?Oh and you forgot to mention Pinesol. I love the smell of pinesol.

    i heard smelling gasoline can cause cancer, but then again people say everything can give you cancer nowadays.

    It's normal dude/dudette. With gasoline you can have either a love-hate relationship in terms of smell. Either you love it, or you hate it. Personally, I can't stand the smell of it, but whatever float's yall's boats and all.

    I kind of do, yes. Catch me on another day and I'd make an impassioned dappled-speech about how the petrochemical industry is responsible for a lot of the drugs that keeps us alive and yet we burn it freely in machines that kill us.

    But yes, I do like it. Even more, I like diesel. Especially on a train or in a passenger ferry. It's probably just linked to a happy memory or something. More than all of them, I like the smell of paraffin, which reminds me of my childhood. Also, propane and butane which gave me and my dad the effects of laughing gas when I was a kid and I went away with him testing out our first caravan.

    As you move down the fractional distillation column, you end up with ethanol. And I guess that one has given me the most fun of all.

      For the pedants, yes, I know it's methanol rather than ethanol. And that it's methane rather than methanol.
