Is it normal to like significantly older men? 40s & older?

I'm still a teenager (legal) but TOTALLY prefer dudes in their 40s! So much more experienced, and the conversations are far, far deeper. Even if they haven't traveled much or aren't what some people call "successful," many guys in their 40s, by dint of having just lived through decades of life more than someone close to my own age, have such a far broader worldview. I'll take a 45 year old over a 20 year old just about every time.

Sure, if you're trying to prove something to daddy or you just like dude's who are going to use you, fuck you, and buy you happy meals.

Normal.

It's a normal phase for a lot of girls/young women, especially the ones who lack a proper father-figure or maturing a little faster than their peers, because many associate age with maturity and wisdom. The bad thing about that is, older isn't always better; and age neither guarantees wisdom, nor maturity.

I'm in that category, but other than just straight up sex I doubt if I could get into a younger female.

Quite normal, especially if the "Older Male" is successful.

No, I'm not saying all women want sugar daddies, I'm saying that a successful older man is more attractive to your average woman - instinctively.

The successful modern man is the equivalent of the pre-historic "Mighty Hunter" - He can provide for a woman and her children.

Unless you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, it takes a few years to gather the accoutrements of success - the house, the car, etc. Hence, older men tend to fit the "success" profile more than younger men.

P.S. If you are a younger woman who has a thing for UNsuccessful older men (particularly if they are a bit overweight), my number is 555.....
