Is it normal to like scent of ones member but..

If it is on another it is somewhat a turn off?

For example I dated a hermaphrodite and as much as u loved her I could not get over the fact that if she did not shower regularly she wpuld have a similar scent as me.

The crazy part is I love my own scent but it seems smelling it emanating from others (not from after intercourse) is a turn off.
