It's not like I love the song Friday or anything, but I really want Rebecca Black to have good songs. She's already famous, so it would be really easy for her to have a good career. She seems like a nice lady.
It's Friday Friday baby yeah! Her and bieber would make the couple of the year for creating shit for our ears to suffer.

I have no sympathy for her, I write songs myself and the very fact she wrote/or chose to sing that crap offends me.
I've heard her sing "Friday" acoustically and she still sounds like bullshit... She is not talented an she is seriously deluded in her dreams.
I'm really pleased she got her moment in the sun, but wasn't it bought for her by her parents as opposed to being deserved? Isn't she just Veruca Salt?
Also, she's had to cope with all kinds of nasty-minded people wishing her ill will out of jealousy. If anything, they've done her a favour. They've taught her what people are really like.
The strangest thing for me, in a world where my country becomes more and more like America, is that America has become like my country and success isn't celebrated any more but scorned.
I'm really not sure that's a good thing, and I miss the hopeful, optimistic, cheerleading America. I never thought I'd say that, but cynicism is so wearying. Pretending everyone is great is not such a bad thing.
I just generally dislike people who get credit for being "artists" when all they are is a pretty face for some generic, meaningless music. I'm not gonna flame her or anything, I dont know her... I just don't put that kind of music on the same level as bands who write and perform their own original stuff.
she is spoiled. shes only famous because her parents paid the recording studio about $20000000 dollars. true story. her parents are obviously pushy. and i heard in an interview that was taken of youtube, that she went back to her old school, got the whole school in the hall, and said "hey guys! nice to see you! i came to say, well, you all know i was the richest in school, and you are all middle class. so if anyone of you wants fame, give up! your worthless! im famous see! you will all end up in a pit, CRYING about how you are worthless! and i will come past your pit, stab you, and rub my money in your face!"
She's only 13 and the music company gave her two options and one had to deal with dating a boy and being heartbroken or some crap like that. She decided she was to young to go with a sing like that so therefore she picked Friday. Which is a shitty song. You would think a 13 year old with no talent did write it. But thats not the case. They had people write songs and send them in. Either way, yes the song is terrible, it's annoying and doesn't make sense. But I think the kid should still have a chance at doing something better. NOT INCLUDING AUTO TUNED SONGS.
She didn't write the song anyways. That was written by the Ark Music Factory... Actually that is the true evil is this situation.

She's not talented and became famous because she has loads of money. Call it a bandwagon but she isn't an artist. She's the lowest of pop stars.
As much as I hate to admit, the song is pretty catchy. I hate her vocal style, and the inane lyrics, but I find myself watching it occasionally. With pop music, the point is to get you hooked, and she made a hell of a viral pop song. While I wouldn't say you (or I) have good taste, it's normal.
i don't doubt it. she is really nice, everyone can see it. But the fact is that the song friday is the worst song ever, it's really funny to ear to sing.
She's a kid and therefore I wish the best for her. I find it warped when people easily hate on a child.
