Is it normal to like or love my bff?

In the begining of this school year I had met my friend jassie and ever since then we have been really good friends but we don't label us bffs.. We text every day and we tell eachother everything.. While I was friends with her I had a bf for a year and she has always been there for me. Me and my bf broke up and I think I like my bff? I always feel a connection between us and I always have lesbian sexual desires... Is this normal? I don't know what to think or do?
