We go to a really small school, so there are not that many people to like. I have really liked this guy for a while, and my friend and him started going out, so I backed off completely. They broke up a little while ago, and my feelings for him came back. He is probably one of my best guy friends and she is definitely one of my best friends. It doesn't seem like she would really are if he and i went out, but I would feel really bad. Is it normal to be in this situation. The worst part is I used to help them when they had relationship problems and they would both always come to me for advice. Should I feel awful for even having these feelings. I haven't told anyone about it cause I am afraid they would judge

    Read the book, "The Unwritten Rule" I think it's by Elizabeth Scott. It will explain this whole concept.

    I would say that this is normal but its not okay if you want to keep good friendship between you and your bestfriend.. Umm, maybe you should wait a little until she move on and her heart healed before you and that guy go out..

    I am sure you were only able to surpress your feelings for your friend's sake, so that you wouldn't cause any hurt between the two of you. I bet you liked him all along and it's totally normal that you still do. You should not feel awful at all, you cannot control who you are really attracted to! If you are meant to be together you will be. :)
