i was born in the 90s n i like music from the 80s n all my friends listen to hiphop n wen we have drink up i play my music n all my friends think im weird or gay WTF is this normal?
I was born 92 and I like some old stuff like Rush, King Crimson, Pink Floyd and Bruce Springsteen
Of course. Besides, it seems like the 80s is sort of making a come back in some ways. I was born in 91 and i absolutely love just about everything there is to the 80s, especially the ''weirdness'' of it, to be brief. They sort of still do that but it seems more forced these days.
Of course it's normal. Alot (although not all) '80s music was pretty good stuff.
Of course, it's normal. I've read that other people also like music from before they were born. Some people like music from very many decades not necessarily around the time they were born. Others like music from after their childhood days. My godmother was born in 1962 and she likes music from the 1980s more than she has liked music from any other decade.
I'm 18 and my absolute favorite band is The Cult, which started in 1983 I believe :) My dad raised me on 80s movies and music and I think it's much more original and unique than today's stuff. Sucks that I was born with people who don't listen to or watch my kind of stuff though. :P

Yeah, of course it's normal!:) I like music from all sorts of different times; when it was made really doesn't bother me in the slightest. If I like it, I like it! Also, some stuff is just sort of timeless. I don't really understand why when it was made has that much of an influence. What sort of 80s music are you into?:)
Yes. It's called having your own personal taste in music.
Hey, if that means you're "weird" then you should be proud lol I'd rather be considered weird than considered normal, if being considered normal meant having to be the same as everyone else.
