Is it normal to like monkeys this much?

Ever since I was a child I was always fascinated by monkeys and apes. One of my favorite movies was jumanji from 1995. My favorite parts always revolved around the boy in the film being transformed into a monkey. Ever since I always dreamed of being able to go through a transformation like that. For whatever reason the thought of being covered in fur and having a tail sounded amazing to me. I have never revealed this to anyone for fear of being called a freak.
