Is it normal to like making your tongue bleed?

I'm just wondering. You know when those small bumps form on the side of your tongue and it hurts and all. But, I was fiddling around with it and I decided to bite it. Yes it hurt, but a creamy liquid poured into my mouth. Not blood at first, but you know when your mouth fills up with saliva when you're in pain. I decided to swallow it and it tasted like copper. I felt my tongue and it had blood on it. I did it a few more times. I don't think I like the pain, more so, what the pain caused.
