when you loath almost every other hip-hop/rap/mainstream artist?
I was stuck in traffic with no radio, just a CD player and a disc I was given as a joke-I have often made statements on my dislike of modern music.
I listened to The Fame, and now seriously like her music-I can't compare with Pixies, or My Bloody Valentine, or Death Cab for Cutie, or any other offbeat(in my opinion)band, but she is intriguing in a way I don't get.
is it normal to like her, alone amongst the modern mainstream?

    Lady gaga is the only mainstream act I like too! She is my guilty pleasure. It's ok to like her. :)

    Same happened to me. Heavy metal, classic rock. Then she comes along and confuses the hell out of me because I love her.

    yes it is normal, Lady Gaga is the only modern artist I listen to ;) besides her, I usually listen to the music of 80's and 90's :)

    I used to listen to metal and rock...But now I love lady gaga I think its because deep down she is a rocker chick and she is so wicked and hot
