Is it normal to like kids movies better than adult ones

I often find that I like movies made for kids more entertaining than movies made for adults. I'm not talking about like barney or teletubbies or something like that I mean like Disney movies or or Pixar movies.
I do enjoy adult orint movies too but lately I have liked all the childrens movies that have been released way better than the adult ones. Normal?

I find that with all the adult stress and problems that we have today and maybe having to grow up with, it's nice to experience a movie that's uncomplicated with our current lives and feel that innocense again. It's just nice to let go for a little while.

Normal. My favorite movies of all time are the Tim Burton versions of Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and they're aimed at children.

yeah man that's totally normal. The last poster ^^^ hit the nail on the head.
Sometime's, when i'm watching a "kid's" film, i get really into it. Like, i can get really upset or histerically excited etc lol. "Mature" film's don't seem to do that to me. Maybe i'm too intelligent for them haha ;)
And anyway, "kid's" film's nowaday's aren't aimed at VERY young children. You'll occassionally even find a few quick joke's that kid's would never get. Like, aimed at adult's.
You obviously have a good sense of humour.
    NORMAL! :)

I feel the same way. I think it's normal - animated films like those from Pixar and Dreamworks are usually really popular. Examples being Bug's Life, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, Shrek, Cars, and the more recent How To Train Your Dragon.
Of course the Disney classics are way up there too! They're awesome full-stop!
