My bad. But I still don't like that show, and it still makes NJ look bad, because its like they're(the crew who isn't even from NJ) trying to portray what NJ and the people from that State are like, when I'm sure people from New Jersey probably don't act stupid like that. Its like they're trying to mock the State but doing a horrible job at it.

  • If you want to see a good show about Italians, just watch the Sopranos.

Italian or not, from Jersey or not, that show is so dumb my IQ drops a little every time someone mentions it.

I am half Italian and I was born in nj and I live minutes away from the jersey shore. Not all italian people in nj are like that. It is really obvious that it's a crappy tv show that doesn't accurately depict our lives. It just encourages stereotypes. I went to pa and everyone (even my doctors while I'm having surgery) were asking me ridiculous questions like does everyone in nj wear a poof in their hair? Do all the girls have brown hair? Is every girl in nj tan? Loud? Crazy? Obnoxious?I'm like WTF?? Yes I have brown hair and I do my laundry....You got me.

The fact that they typisize themselfs to Italian 'guido's', while theyre American as fuck, makes them more American then what i've seen untill now...

I don't think it makes Italian americans look bad. It makes people who watch this shit look bad though.

  • Sometimes its fun to watch a show with ridiculous people on it, because its so much of a train wreck you just cant look away. Like Bad Girls Club, or Flavor of Love sometimes, back when it came out. However their accents on Jersey Shore are like nails on a chalkboard to me, and their fake tans and tacky style hurt my eyes. So I don't watch it.

  • Funny how they're all born in the USA and not Italy. But anyways, I wished Irene would have washed up the crew. That's my wishful thinking talking.

I have to agree with Floydzcloud. It makes people think that EVERYONE who is from NJ is like that, when in reality they aren't. And someone would have to be a complete dumbass to think that real Italians are actually like that. They aren't.

It's a great show. I don't know why people think it's viewers take it seriously, idolize them, and think that's what everyone from NJ is like. It's complete stupidity that is enjoyable to watch. It's like having those retarded (not literally) kids in high school saying and doing stupid things all over again.

Lighten up, have a beer, a bowl, and just laugh at it instead of hating before you give it a chance. Seriously if you enjoy laughing at stupid people you will enjoy the Shore.
