is it normal to like industrial and rhythmic noise, most of the people i've met have no idea what that genre of music is, there's hardly an industrial/noise scene where i live, which means nobody to talk to about my fav music...?

    Oh industrial metal... New Wave... Rock... The glories grown and budded from nostalgic and humble beginnings... They are incredible genres of music: be proud to have such fantastic taste in music, my friend.
    Stay away from the mainstream, stick to your guns; keep that rare sense of individuality =]

    I like the odd few industrial/EBM songs, but I generally dabble in it more than anything.

    I think its completly normal! You just find music in the world around you... I think that its a gift. To find something that you like that actually exists all arund you. Completly normal.
