So i didn't come from like a twisted home or anything, but i like heavy metal. Not like what most people would consider, like metallica -_-. it makes me mad when people only listen to commercial shit. Sometimes i feel like i'm the only one who likes it because only 2 or 3 people i know like my music. I listen to wbtbwb, the fall of troy, necrophagist, job for a cowboy, wretched, the black dahlia murder

    My Grandpa is a pastor my parents are very christian and the black dahlia murder is my favorite band! i also like the faceless, whitechapel, jfac, despised icon, cannibal corpse, winds of plague, through the eyes of the dead, ect.... <3

    I absolutely love metal music! I'm actually a heavy metal guitarist in my own band, believe it or not, and I come from a country-loving Christian household! Yeah, it's normal to like heavy metal, especially where I'm from; a lot of us like it where I live.

    Liking heavy metal has nothing to do with your up bringing. I love heavy metal and I have a great parents and a good up bringing. I had to google what WBTBWB was I have to say that the song I listened to was absolute shit. At the moment I'm into a band called Dagoba and the song Face The Colossus :)

    My all-time favourite band is Sonata Arctica, but they are a Finnish power metal band. I have nearly all their cds ! You should check them out if you like metal, although they're more melodic/symphonic/power metal. And not many people have heard of them either.

    Those bands are bad ass! Listen to what ever you like, even if u happen to like a couple country songs. It dont matter what everyone else likes, to each is his own. We who you are. And listening to rock music does not mean that you came from a twisted family! Who ever told you that is out of thier mind! lol

    I like classic metal ( such as megadeth and anthrax ) and have alot of friends who like really heavy bands like what you listed. Sure it may not be mainstream, but it's nothing abnormal.

    I used to listen to a lot of metal, but I was more into the classic metal like, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and so on.
    Black Dahlia murder is pretty good, though I disagree with WBTBWB, couldn't get into them. Just my opinion.

    I know many people who listen to Metal but not fucked up shit like WBTBWB -.- I like most of the new stuff and especially Post-Hardcore, Metalcore and most of the other core stuff =P
