Is it normal to like guys/girls more once you know they're into you?

This isn't really for any reassurance, or anything, but more that me and my friends were talking about stuff earlier, and the subject of relationships came up. We talked about how they would occasionally like girls more, or even begin liking them altogether after they find out the girl liked them. We came to a consensus amongst ourselves that it was normal, but, since we're all rather introverted, I was wondering if it was something that was common amongst more outgoing people as well. Also, I was wondering if it went both ways. I.E. do girls begin liking guys once they know the guys are into them?

It's totally normal, but you don't like like them. It's just that you like the thought of them liking you or the attention. Happens to me alot.

Agree with the previous comment. And personally, it'd depend who it was...

Maybe because when you're aware someone likes you, you begin to think about that person more.

Did this with my neighbor. My friend pointed out his interest in me. Once I returned it, his fizzled away. Now that I have a bf, he seems angry with me. Go figure.

It is VERY normal. I'm a fairly outgoing person and I have definitely noticed this (although obviously if the girl is revolting or something it doesn't work). I honestly am NOT very attracted to a girl anymore if I find out she's not into me. Ao it goes both ways with me.
