So a few years a go me and my dad were in South Korea, he was on business but we stayed for 6 months, i met this girl Yura and we would hang out all the time, now i live in the U.S and were supposed to see each other in a few weeks in L.A. I live in Texas but my dad is taking me. The problem is that this was all a dream that happened a few years ago, but i think about Yura all the time and i think i'm in love with an imaginary person, please help me

    Well, you certainly have an imagination which isn't a bad thing. Do you have a real life crush whom Yura resembles (physically or personality-wise)? I have had dreams about a guy that doesn't exist (that I'm aware of), he was my bf in the dream, and he looked a lot like my real crush.

    Anyway, I say it's okay to fantasize when you're alone. Just don't let it interfere with your life or become an obsession.

    If you were a child it would be kinda normal but since you have to be older than 18 to post, I think what would be more normal is to focus on something that can actually give you long term fulfillment and real happiness (your life and your friends, family, women, job, etc.) rather than investing time, thought and energy into something that will certainly not amount to anything other than disappointment and longing (Yura).

    Maybe use what you found attractive in her to be open to real girls who share those qualities ^^!
