I was surfing youtube one day and came across a japanese song that was really catchy! So is it normal to like a song even though i dont understand the lyrics?

It's completely normal. I'm into Eurodance and a lot of songs I enjoy from that genre come from Scandinavia. In fact, my top favorite Eurodance song, "Ligger Med Varandra", is in Swedish. I have been listening to it for over 6 months and I still have no idea what it's about, but I really love it. Lyrics aren't the most important thing about songs. If it sounds good to you, rock out! :)

Yeah I have a favorite french rapper who I don't know what he is saying. I translate some of the lyrics and when I listen to those songs I think of the translation and it makes me connect even more. Good times.
