Ok, so there is this girl that i've liked for a while, but i recently found out that she has the same last name as my former step dad and might be blood related. would it be weird if i dated her?

    He's your "ex" step dad...which means he's just a guy that was in your life breifly...no blood no shame...go get her

    He was your "step" dad which your NOT blood related to so... No. I would just try to focus on her rather then the coincidental and pointless circumstance. Good luck.

    As the above have pointed out - he's out of the picture & you are not blood related so thats OK. But yo may want to speak with her so that you are both on the same page.
