Is it normal to lie that i cook a lot

So normally if I have a date with a girl I ivite her for a diner I cook myself. Normally I cook spaghetti and since this is the only food I have ever cooked I have a great experience in it. I lie them that I love to be in the kitchen. This makes the girls very happy since they think I will cook at least once a week, but nothing is more far from the truth. Most of the cases we just have sex, and even if it turns out to be a more serious relationship, I never cook again. Recently my girlfriend started to complain about I never help her out in the kitchen. I never ment this promise seriously and actually very suprised that anyone can believe it. IIN?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA the way you said everything made me laugh but on a serious note .. you shouldnt have lied and furthermore you should be helping her out or learning or telling her the truth and learning from and with her . it can be fun and also a very romantic and loving experience :) cheers

    You never meant the promise seriously and didn't think anyone would believe it? Don't make up your own assumptions about this, because all you're really doing is making up excuses.

    Tell her the truth: You're only good with spaghetti and you don't really love to be in the kitchen.

    What kind of "experience" can you have with boiling water for spaghetti? I'm guessing you're not making your own pasta or sauce else you'd have other cooking skills. It's one thing to puff yourself up a bit in the early days but it sounds like you just flat-out lied. Time to face the music. If she lets it slide then learn to cook and help her out. That's what a man would do. If she doesn't then grow up and don't pull that crap again.

    So you are suprised that they actually expected you to be willing to help them cook everynow and then. Grow up and do it with them like ribbit said it can be fun to learn how to cook. Especially if it is with someone you are interested in, I doubt you have feelings for any of these girls though sound shallow.
