I lie ALOT. Like right now im lying to a girl im dating. I dont have much $$$$ but she thinks I do and so it sux bc i gotta pay for eberything....cant keep this up for much longer what should i do???? I dont wanna lose the girl but this cannot keep up forever unless i win the lottery or something which def wont happen cuz i dont even play!
Lies, the first step in having trust issues. Be honest with her and she will probably understand. I hope for you she will stay with you.
UPDATE: I covered up my original lie with another one and here's how it worked out: I told her that I was going to get laid off soon so that she would lay off having me pay for everything.....and now she wont even talk to me.
Okay.. I lie alot as well. Its so messed up because I dont really need to, I just have this thing were I need people to think I'm absolutely "The Best" at everything...
I'm careful with my lies but sometimes they get me into tangled position (like the one you're in at the moment). When this happens I simply cut off all contact with the person I've been lying to. I dont know if this will work for you dude? But it works for me because I dont really care about anyone.

Besides coming clean which I know could be embarrassing here are some more ways to keep the current lie going.
1. Tell her you just got a pay cut in work because profits are down and it was a lower wages or let people go scenario. That gives you a foundation to work from.
2. Start going on cheaper dates. Dinner and wine can be expensive but local music and a couple of beers/coffee is not.
3. Start doing outdoor activities as its summer. Hill walking, renting bikes and going cycling, picnics,
4. Go to free art exhibitions/ free events (do some research in advance) that way you have spent the day out but have barely touched your money except for a drink or some lunch.
anyway after you start this routine she will not notice that you do not over spend anymore as you are constantly doing stuff but not spending much cash.

My sister was dating a guy who pretended he was doing well in his business - when in fact he was going bankrupt. She didn't know he was crippled with debt so she let him spend on her. When she found out, she felt soooo bad and was furious that he had been so stupid and thought she was so shallow. She was able to save him from bankruptcy but only just!!! If he'd left it a few weeks later it would've been too late!
Maybe you can tell her that you can't spend so much money on her.
Also, picnics are pretty romantic.
