I do this a lot, and I feel sexy and rebellious when I do, but I feel guilty adterwards. Is this normal? And if your a nice person, can you give me tips on how to make these lies more believable? Thanks :)
If u feel that u have to lie to feel that way then u are hanging out with the wrong ppl
i'm a wonderful liar but you sound like you're only doing this to seem cool. The guilt is why i stopped also i forget what i said after i say it months ago. But it's not a good idea, you want someone's trust and real respect not this trashy crap. I had an attention seeking problem but if you really want to get better at lying. Say it casually, believe it and say it over in your head if you stare too much or too little you are lying if you are TOO descriptive without necessary cause, like someone asking you. You are lying. I took up acting that helps and btw if you keep going down this road you just might get stabbed.
the problem with lying to seem cool is that when you get caught in a LIE (and you WILL) people lose all respect for you. no matter what you say you've done, people won't believe you. in fact, you'll be seen as pathetic rather than rebellious. you don't get to take the credit for rebelling without actually doing anything. start telling the truth, or at least stop making up the lies. it's NOT worth it. and who's making you feel this way? if you're surrounded by people who make you feel like you have to be bad to fit in, then you're with a bad crowd. they'll grow up to be lovely felons and burdens on society. Leave them behind, or they will bring you down
well depends what you lie about. my wife tells me about all guys she fucks and likes to. I like to see her do it or the results of it. So i don't think she's lying. Just having fun
this may sound stereo type but if your a guy its ok to lie because u don't want people to think your gay..but a women its not so cool because you will gain the wrong title from both sides.SO keep it real only if your a women;)
People can tell when your lying, especially when your telling a stoner a story about smoking. Trust me we know what were doing and if you don't it's really obvious. If you lie about physical stuff guys will think your easy and believe it or not guys don't like that for more than a night or two
It's normal to feel bad afterwords, u are lieing afterall.. But hookups always feel good. U just need to make sure u are ALWAYS SAFE in every way. Mk sure a friend knows were ull be just iincase of a dangerous situation
you're doing it to be interesting - do something that will make you feel less empty instead of writing an unofficial book of fiction.
I would say stop because people do know when you're lying (or will know) and you will look like a pathological manipulative dumbass. I say that in the nicest way... others know when a story gets exaggerated. They're just being nice but not making fun of you to your face.
