I'm 21 and a virgin. I don't think I'm saving it for anyone. But I've never been in love. I think it's because I'm too focus on the sex part of it. A guy friend of mine wants to do it with me, but i don't love him and I know he doesn't love me.
To be honest I think you're over thinking it. Why is sex so important these days? I think that if you want to have sex and you have the urge to be with someone just do it. You don't have to love someone to have sex with them. The first time I had sex was when I was fairly young, but i stayed with that person for two years and don't regret it to this day. I don't know what love is and to be honest I don't think people know what love is til you are put in a situation where you are going to lose everything. Live life to the fullest and stop making sex such a big deal. We don't have that much time to make the most of what life has to offer so have fun.
They say you remember your first love more than the first time you had sex, most of us are young when we first do it and are shit freightened I remember thinking what so great about sex but 10 years on I view it different and now think its wonderful. Don't let anyone sway you to have sex do it when you feel its the right time for you. Also maybe forget this friend and do mit will someone else he knows your situation and might just want bragging rights which would make you feel even worse - when it happens enjoy
Not only normal but also desirable. Don't have sex the first time (or even many times after that) with someone you love. Separate sex from the love, then when you are good and comfortable with it you can give more to one you do love. If you like your friend then have sex with him.

Just get it over with. The first time is nothing special. We think that it will be, but its usually bogus. At least the guy who wants to bang you is someone you know. No harm there. You may regret it, but you may also regret not doing it. Its really up to you of course

Most people's first time isn't great. Especially for females. Haha. I by no means believe in the " save it for marriage" concept. That is ridiculous and compatibility in the bedroom is important to a healthy relationship. However, I don't recommend having sex just to say you have done it. At least wait until it is someone you are attracted to so it isn't the worst experience ever. Oh, and be safe. Most guys will find a way to avoid the safe route, stick to your guns and make them wrap it and pull out. Or try out females, less messy and you might get more out of it, and no babies! Haha
most people i know myself included had our first times with people we didn't love but then many of us regret it it. is it normal, yes. advisable... maybe not.
well my first time was with a friend of mine.like you neither of us loved each other.Though I dont regret it cause before sleeping with him i made sure he respects me.He always says I am passionate,that theres nobody like me.We are still together and I think he started to love me.So before doing anything make sure he respects you.And if you want to do that then do it.Life is too short to waste your time
lots of peoples first time is with someone they dont love, who cares? why does it matter? i dont get why some people make such a big deal out of it.
WAIT that's what sex was made for is having it with someone who loves you and that you love in return. What happens when you find the love of your life and you could have experienced that with him first instead of someone whomeans nothing to you. It may sound like a good idea bow but in the long run you will be sorry.

I lost my virginity to someone I was in love with at the time. Then we fell out of love and I realized he was kind of a jerk. Now I feel kind of ashamed that I made so much more of it than it really was...I thought it was special and it wasn't. I wish I had lost it to someone I didn't care about. On the bright side, I now have a funny story about how serious it all seemed. It's really not a big deal. Live in the moment, if you want to fuck someone, then do it - you never know if someone "special" is going to turn out a dick in the end. And it won't make it any less special when you find someone you DO care about - no matter how many come before, sex with someone you care about is always intimate.

I don't even know the guy's name who I first did it with, and I don't regret it. There was NO pressure, no drinking/drugs, whatever. I initiated it because I just wanted to do it.

I'd say wait. I waited for the man of my dreams. We also dated a looong time because I was young when we started dating. (15, now 20) It was something very special for me and something I remember very fondly. Also since I was also HIS first its like a special thing between us because both of our bodies have only ever been explored by each other. I realy love that.
