I let my girlfriend work in a strip club.
I'm letting her work there until I get a job.
Am I normal?
How nice of you to "let" her. Do you tell her what to eat for breakfast and when to go to sleep too?
Jeez, what's with all the feminazis in the comments here. He means "let" as in not being jealous or breaking off the relationship. To all the girls saying that he shouldn't even question it, wouldn't you be a bit jealous if your guy took up a job as a Chippendale? But if it gets the bills paid, you gotta do what you gotta do, even though that would probably make most guys a bit uncomfortable.
Does she like it or does she just do it to earn money for both of you? If she only strippes for the money I don't see why you couldn't.
What exactly makes you think that it is your decision? It's her life, her body and her choice. Should you choose not to remain with her because of her choice, that IS your choice. Otherwise, shut up and be happy one of you has gainful employment.
"Letting" was probably a bad wording for it. Not being happy with it and not causing a fuss about it, well I don't think that is normal.
She's in the work of aiming to sexually attracting other men, and that is her choice, however I think that it would cause problems.
I am a girl, getting married to my boyfriend next year. My fiancee would rather work 4 jobs than have me work at a strip club. The only man I'm allowed to strip for is him. Darn, when a man looks at me with lust in his eyes- that man better get outta there as soon as he can. My fiancee may be jealous (not as bad as me though) but that's how I would have it. I work at a medicine factory, which pays very well. Especially night-shifts. My guess is that you just like boasting about your stripper girlfriend.

1) You 'let' her? I hope this was just poor word choice, and that you really mean 'I don't have a problem with her working in a strip club'/'it doesn't bother me'.
2) I think it's normal. A lot of women in relationships, even marriages, strip.
3) Have you discussed this with her? She may not want to stop stripping once you get a job. If she has found a job that she enjoys and is good at, even if that job is getting naked, this may be the case.
4) You don't need to save her, if that is how you feel on the matter. See above.
5) It doesn't matter if it's normal. If it works for you two, it's what you should do.
6) If you don't like her stripping, discuss it with her calmly and describe your feelings ('I feel jealous', not 'you're acting like a slut').
7) Try reading 'Candy Girl' by Diablo Cody. It's a stripper memoir. Very interesting, extremely funny, surprisingly educational.
