Is it normal to know someone because of thier breath or smell?

I am able to tell who someone is simply by listening to them breathe, or listening to thier footsteps, or smelling them.
For instance, my aunt had come to visit without telling me, and when she entered the house she stood behind me and I knew she was there because she didn't smell like my immidiate family. (Another odd thing is that I can tell when a woman is on her period by smell, too. I can tell without having to get close, she just has to walk by or I have to sit in a seat after her.)
(I can also smell places on people.)

    My ex used to have a smell. Not a bad one. Just a "her" thing. Months after we split up, I smelled it again on a coat I hadn't worn in a while and it kind of made me sad. I always think that I'd know upon walking into a room whether she'd been there recently but I'm probably deluding myself.

    There is a guy at work I can do this with, though. His breath is like a decomposing rat farting in a sewer on a hot day.

      Oh dear God! I used to have to work with a guy with the smelliest feet, it was horrific. To be quite honest I hope someone vomits on his feet. What's really weird about all of this is its not sneakers he wears, but sandals. Just thinking about it gives me a headache.

    Is it normal for me to wonder if I could recognize my cat out of the lineup of other cats by smell while blindfolded?

    Yup especially if a person has a horrid scent. You'll know they're nearby.

    I have that thing to but only hearing is high and the smell of people make me see places they been at weird tight had it seen I was younger

    That reminds me of one of my aunts! Whenever she comes over, I know about it before she even shows herself or makes a sound. It's because, she's always wearing some kind of perfume that you can smell from quite a distance away. It's not a bad smell, it's just that you can definitely smell it.
