I'm a Boston girl and I have this weird dislike for California. I have no idea if it's jealousy or what, but I automatically have grudges towards people from that state. When Katy Perry's song came out I was kind of annoyed. What about us eastern girls?
Hey, (in a friendly way hey, not yelling hey) I've lived in California my whole life, and you people always hate LA and San Francisco, well, the mountains are nice. I'm not too far from Yosemite and a couple of lakes, great state parks. I work downtown Columbia, and if you want to meet nice people that don't care where you're from, visit sometime. Sometimes I'll ask as a conversation starter, but mainly to get customers talking. Accents are always interesting to me, and Boston's got a good one =]
Ps, to rule out stereotypes:
1) not everyone knows how to surf
2) not everyone is a political activist
3) not everyone is gay
4) not everyone likes that California girls song, and not everyone can understand our governor. Lol
I live California and not everyone is horrible, but it can be pretty bad in certain places. :|

NY people are the worst in the world, are you kidding me with rude snobs comment? NYC is the worst place in the world to live, you have to literally fight for any resource, (food, parking, etc)
NJ isnt much better, esp North Jersey. I live in central NJ and there are far too many people as well !
I don't like that California Katy Perry song too (I wish it wasn't made in the first place!), but I know someone from California, and there are some people there that can be rude or annoying, but there are some places in California that are very nice places to visit! This is normal because I hate my city sometimes too (but I'm not from California)...

I'm a north Californian myself and understand what you mean.. Our government is definitely one of the worst states EVER!
But you HAVE to admit if any state could be considered to have the most hot girls in close proximity it would be California.
Whoever said we couldn't last a winter in the east is probably right about most but I on the other hand HATE the heat and love the cold! I sweat on snow campouts and that's sleeping with hardly any clothes in a sleeping bag!
Have you ever been there? You might really like it and change your prospective. I live in the Northeast but have been to California many times, and I love it there. And I hate to break it to you, but California is more marketable in our culture than the east coast. That's why you here "california girls" instead of "east coast girls". Just admit it, "east coast girls" just doesn't sound right lol.
Cali's governent is fucked up. I mean really in San francisco they banned happy meals.
From Ohio.Really want to go to MA.And I have cousins from Cali that I rather dislike.The state in general seems ok.Not really on the "states I want to vist" list though.

Im FROM NORTHERN CALi and im kOOL with it but I kind of get what you mean like people could be bitches what part of cali r u by like so cal LA orange coumty ? or northern cali bay type area ?
Yeah, it's normal. I've lived in Cali my whole life and I hate it with a passion. This state is full of cocky assholes, and easy skanks.
