Is it normal to kick your bf in the balls during a fight?

I was fighting with my boyfriend last night and he didn't let me talk. He was shouting at me and I was so mad and kicked him in the balls, he quickly went down and he looked like he was crying. But I was so mad, I didn't care so I left.

Unless you're defending yourself from an attack, there is pretty much never a reason to kick or hit another person -- especially not one you pretend to love. You're an abusive asshole, you owe him a major apology, and you should probably leave him so he can find a woman who can use her words and not her feet to get a damned point across.

    You're awful.

Thank you! Couldn't have said it better myself.

    Pathetic.
He didn't hit you, so why did you hit him?

    Are you usually that abusive?

There are far better ways to get your point across. He wasn't physically attacking you so there was no reason for that.

I'm with Prose. There is no reason to kick a dude in the balls unless he is attempting to harm you. It is immature as all hell and if he broke up with you due to this, you should be far from surprised.

If you think he doesn't pay enough attention to you, dominates conversation, or verbally abuses you then leave and find someone who treats you well. If someone upsets you so much that you feel the need to physically assault them then that's not a relationship you need to be in. You can't force someone to treat you the way you want. Accept that you are powerless over him and move on!

How would you have felt if he had called the cops and pressed charges against you? If you're smart you'll take a break from dating, see a therapist and start working on your issues!

Normal if he was getting physical but it doesn't sound that way.
"He quickly went down" Opponent neutralized!

I agree with all the above,
If he isn't actually physically harming you or trying to do so it's a wayyyy OTT

A kick to the balls is the same as delivering approximately 3000 babies or braking 300 bones... This is why he was crying... Any man that gets kicked in the balls will allways go down crying because it hurts like hell. If I were him, I would totally press charges

It's mean, and maybe this particular form of lashing out isn't common, but lashing out is very normal. Not to say that it's okay. I sometimes do it when I'm fighting with my siblings and I can't control my anger

You go girl! If he wasn't abusive yet, it's just a matter of time b4 he will be. Things usually get worse, not better. I LOVE strong women like you. I'm so turned on right now. Please don't kick my balls for saying that. :)

Just because he was shouting at her doesn't mean he's going to get abusive. You can't assume that about every guy. Kicking a guy in the balls is a serious thing! It can affect fertility!
