Is it normal to keep seeing someone if it becomes illegal

Hello,
So my girlfriend and I have been together for 5 months and in 1 month things will change. Now I know I have to be 18 to use this site but I am one month away from being 18 so please cut me some slack. Its also important to know that my girlfriend will be 15 for four more months. In the state I live in 16 is the age of consent age there isn't an age difference law. So some of the things that we do, like "petting", that are perfectly legal right now won't be in 1 month. I really care about her and think I might just love her but I can't risk the minimum jail time that I would face if we were discovered. So should I stay with her and pray that we aren't caught, or should we break up?

Keep seeing her 78
Stop seeing her 26
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

you can keep seeing her just lay off the sex.

These 'laws' that mandate a certain age to have a privilege to do something, or to acquire a particular 'right', are discriminatory in nature, and they often contradict natural law. These should be challenged, repealed and replaced.
'Rights' should be earned through responsible behaviour.

I highly doubt you would be sent to prison. My friend was in the exact same situation as you when he turned 18 and his girlfriend was still 15, we all joked he was a paedo.

Keep it up. I have dealt with age gaps a bit larger than that, you're hardly in the position to be questioned by anyone. As long as you're not putting your wizard staff in her mana pool and as an extra precaution, keeping everything unannounced, you'll be just fine.

I'm going to be 20 and my girlfriend just turned 18. We have already had a child together. Fuck everyone who wants to say something. I'd go to court for my girl. Don't worry. Just love.

I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate this post at all =\ kind of effed up man.

You could always keep seeing her, but if it truly bothers you, hold off on the things that would be deemed "illegal" until your birthdays pass.

Stop having sex and all the related stuff.... I was dating 14yo girl and we simply had no sex, I had some problems in school (because of cuddling), buthing nothing big.. (god bless my country, where people can have sex after they are 15yo)

Just stay away from sexual acts. One thing I must ask, though. Are bother of your and her parents aware of the relationship? If they are, I think there may be something about consent from the parents that might make the relationship legal. I am not sure and feel like I am making this up but you should do some research and find out.

Simply having consent does not make it anymore legal. Legally if an 18 year old has sex with a minor of any age its rape. Even if the child consents to it.

You still should be able to date her. Stop having sex with her until she's of legal age.

Just do it where someone won't find you.
    I'm serious. Just do that.

You can see her but you can not have sex. Wait till she is at least 18 to have sex. 18 and 22 you two should not have that much of an issue. So wait 3 years if you plan on having sex.

That's silly. If they already had sex before why should they suddenly stop after midnight of his birthday just because some stupid man-made law wants to interfere with people's sex life? Or because you ask them to?

You know I do not think it is wise to talk about your illegal activity on this website. Especially involving deflowering of minors. Are you trying to get reported? You know they also have internet police who investigate this type of thing. So I would not be so stupid as to advertise that you like youngsters in your bed.

It's not about me. It's about the op who might already have had sex with her anyway and the silliness of it suddenly becoming illegal. Don't change topics.

You are encouraging people to do crime. It says not to talk about illegal activities. You are the one who want to brag about it. Also if Op did it before age 18 that is not a crime.

I don't encourage people to do REAL crime. I only point out how SILLY and STUPID and IRRATIONAL the law is. Got it? Now bugger off.

That is just how the law is. If you want to break the law you risk being prosecuted. OP asked for if we think they should continue. Do not have sex but you can still be with them. If not you committed a crime and you can still be charged in court. The law is meant to keep adults away from children. However when the adult is closer to minor in age its different. Like if a 25 year old is going after 12 year old yeah you'd want to prosecute them. If a 16 year old dats a 17 year old and the 17 year old turns 18 you can prosecute. However I think most people agree an 18 year old going to prison for being with a 17 year old is dumb. I do not make the law so do not complain to me.

Nothing is illegal if you don't get caught.
