To not tell anyone that am getting married?? My friends at work don't know about it, they know am totally against marriage so am afraid they'd be surprised once they know.

    If you are totally against marriage, why are you getting married?

    Coworkers are not the same as friends and therefore I think you should be selective about what you reveal regarding your personal life at work. If you don't want to tell them, that's fine. It's not normal though, but only because so many women these days think that marriage is the ultimate life experience, and they CRAVE the attention they'll receive from others during their engagement period & wedding.
