Is it normal to keep accidently biting my ulcer?

Basically, I have an ulcer which is situated in the front of mouth and on the odd occasion I keep accidently biting it, this REALLY REALLY hurts :(

Has anyone else done this before and been in the same boat that i have? Cos it would be really nice to know thankyou xxxx

    It's kind of like, the more you avoid it the more obvious it gets. You try so hard not to bite it and it happens! It'll heal up soon, don't worry.

    yea that happens when i get them... usually thats WHY i get them lol... try mouthwashing salt water, then TRY to leave it alone lol

    I used to get canker sores alot. Then I started taking L-Lysine with my daily vitamins
