I'm considered a funny person by almost everyone who knows me. So, one day I decided to record a laugh track and keep it in my pocket. When I say something funny, I play it. Is it normal to do this?
Try playing the laugh track in a totally random or inappropriate situation. Like just passing by people in the mall, or waiting in line at a checkout. That would be hilarious.

Most likely you are actually funny (I hope) in which case it's still not normal (only because no one else I can think of does it) BUT it is totally fine to do. Not weird or anything :)
I would love to use a laugh track, but only when other people say something funny or I'm in an awkward/inappropriate situation, so it feels like I'm living in a sitcom. But personally, I'm not funny so I don't deserve my own laugh track.
I keep a recording of myself saying "You are a retard". Nobody has heard it yet. I'm waiting to debut it the first time I hear someone with a laugh track in their pocket.
I'm lying, of course. I don't need the recording. I'm just going to express it to you via the gift of speech.
