Is it normal to just not talk to my dad?

So I am now 18, and I haven't actually spoken to my father since I was about 12. When I was little me and my brothers would go to his house, but really he had more in common with my brothers so I was just kinda left out (I'm the only girl). My mother also really disapproved of me going with him- I didn't know why at the time but it was mostly because she didn't like him and they got divorced etc.
Now that I'm 18 all my brothers still have somewhat communication with my dad but I still don't. He's never really made any great attempts to show he cares. And plus I like my life I don't feel like anything is missing just because I don't have a father figure, everything is great.
Is it normal to just not talk to my dad and have no interest in wanting to talk to him?

    Then why should you? He has been the adult in this relationship and let you down. If you are happy, you don't need to regard him as anymore than a sperm donor.

    A good man is hard to find. If you are happy and content and feel nitjing is missing in your life...then no worries. His loss.
