Is it normal to judge someone based on their horoscopes?

whenever i get to know a new friend, i would ask when's his/her birthday so i can know his/her horoscope. if we seeem to get along then it's fine. however, if our horoscopes are not compatible and can't seem to get along then i'll avoid that person in my life. horoscopes are quite true in my case so is this normal?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Horoscopes are a crock of shit.

I certainly think it's normal, i do the same but it's better to go by the entire chart versus the moon signs alone, and I wouldn't feceommend not talking to someone just based on their sign alone, everyone is different, and many people are often on a "cusp." Unless you have repeated bad experiences with a certain sign, you can never judge a whole group of people based on any generality, astrology is interesting and fun, but no one character trait can define any one person completely.

    Of course it isn't normal.

  • Not always. The rising sign and Moon sign have influence on the personality too. You can be born on the same day as someone and be different.

Same day, different genetics. The moon and the Stars have nothing to do with it.

No it's not normal. You can't judge someone based on what the "stars" say or the "planets" because it's irrational.

You have to know exactly where and when someone's born to do a horosccope. A birth date alone won't tell you much.
Astrology's nonsense pseudoscience anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

A lot of people do this, but that doesn't mean it's normal. It's prejudicial and "stereotyping". Although not scientific, Horoscope in and of itself is harmless, just don't use it as a litmus test.
