Female friend of mine fell in love with a guy in prison. Not on death row, but supposed to be in for a long time. He got out, and moved in with her. Then took her for everything she had, money, credit cards, and stole her car. Really put her in trouble for about a year.
He resurfaced, and, what did the stupid bitch do? Took him back! I've seen them in a local sports bar on occasion, and seems like all he does is be very physical and demanding with her. She's a pretty, petite little thing that most guys would cross traffic on fire for, yet, he has some hold on her. She or he may say he's "just kidding around", but, it comes off as him throwing her around. Grabs her by the neck, holds her arms..I worry about this guy killing her.
If you are in love with this guy, make sure there's no shot of him getting out. Also, have a little self-respect and go for a non-criminal who can spend time with you.
No it's not normal, I don't see the point of it either. There's plenty of lonely people on the outside you could be sharing your company with, who actually deserve it too, and who could actually spend their life with you if you wanted it.
Sure it is sweetums. We just can't imagine a better way to piss away our lives, than to spend it on some idiot doing life in prison.
I don't think it normal, not at all normal. You have to have a really special kind of desperate coupled with as fear of intimacy for that sort of bullshit.
