Is it normal to honk at someone and then be in an awkward state?

So you're driving and you honk at someone or they honk at you. Then you have this awkward relationship where you try to keep some distance from them until one if you turns and if you are forced to pass them or they you you debate if you should make eye contact. Just me?

    be as actively pissed off as possible, if they made a mistake that could affect your premiums then you should make them feel it
