Is it normal to hold my socks up with electrical tape?

Well is it normal to use electrical tape to hold my socks up? My socks always fall down and after getting tired of pulling my socks up all the time I started holding them up with electrical tape. I stretch my socks up to my knees and then wrap the top thoroughly in electrical tape to keep them up. It works but it's awkward when I wear shorts and taking my socks off hurts because the electrical tape pulls on my leg hairs.

    When I was a kid and my socks would droop, I'd use rubber bands around my calves. Did it so often that I kept a bag of the bands in my sock drawer. Got to be a regular thing.

    Buy new socks! Shred up your old socks, and leave the stuff somewhere where birds can take it, and use it to make nests.
