Is it normal to help your ex-boyfrined find a new girlfriend?

My ex-boyfriend wants me to help him find a new girlfriend. He goes to a different school and he likes some of my classmates. I'd help him but if he got disappointed wouldn't be I the one to blame and wouldn't he be willing to cry on my shoulder?

He's probably trying to play some sort of jealousy mind game. Typically this isn't normal.

Maybe it's ok, but it feels as if you're quite dominant (and/or he is submissive) and can use this as a way of maintaining control. I think it's better if you let him make his own decisions and then he is the one responsible for them.

Is he too incabible to find his own girlfriend? Tell him to find someone by himself instead of holding your hand so you can guide him through one of lifes important parts.

If you're still friends with your ex, then it should be just fine. You know his type so you can recommend a good person.

Yeah, this sounds way to awkward for me.

Just because he was your ex doesnt mean you should be rivals i think rivalry and hate doesnt bring anything good at all so what you do is fine to me.

  • I find this weird. I mean you guys loved each other at some point and you're helping him find someone else to date and maybe love. I don't know.. If my ex wanted to help me find someone new to love, I'd be asking her instead why can't we be together again instead.
