Is it normal to hear your heart beat through your ears?

Am i the only one who lays in bed at night and cant get their head in a suitable position to where they wont hear the insane noise of their heartbeat coming through their eardrum?? It keeps me from sleeping at night! Like a freaken Edgar Allan Poe story!! Cept i didnt kill anyone. lol

    Yeah, absolutely. If you put your palm flat against your ear, you'll hear it too.
