Is it normal to have your period for 9 days?

okay so I started taking allese on the first day of my period(friday the 25th) like my doctor said. since then I had a light period and last thursday Ithrew up less than an hour after taking the pill(not because of the pill) so yesterday I took a 2 pills at my usual time. Today is my ninth day having my period, I only bleed at certain times but its weird cause usually it only lasts for 7 or less days. Is this normal? I'm kinda freaking out.
