Is it normal to have your own ideas about god?

Firstly, I'm an atheist have been for about 8 years. I was raised Christian though, and the number one thing I remember from it is that, God loves everyone and is nice, all that. When someone asks if I'm afraid of hell, I'd say no. I honestly believe that if the Christian God is real, he wouldn't send me to hell. When I was younger I tried hard to believe and it was very stressful for me to deal with not being able to at such a young age. I'm a good, nice person, and I don't believe that God would send me to hell for not being able to believe. And if he did, then honestly I don't think I would want to be in heaven with someone like him anyway. Do you have your own thoughts ideas like this?

    I am like you, but I never tried to believe in God, though I had catholic classes once a week almost for like 7 years. I consider myself a good person too. And yes, it is normal to have your own ideas, it means that you can think without the influence of others
