Is it normal to have your mood be based off the weather

Everytime it's nice out I'm always in a great mood, when it's rainy I always somehow seem sulky, and when it snows I'm just in a horrible mood. No matter how hard people try to cheer me up it just doesn't work. Normal??

I actually prefer winter. I like the coziness about it. Being in the house, nose pressed against the window watching the rain. Summer makes me grumpy.

We need the sun. Our bodies absorb vitamin D through the skin. It keeps are bones strong, our immune system healthy, and generally boosts the mood. When our bodies are healthy, we tend to be happier.

    So enjoy the sun!

Yes, weather does effect people's disposition. More than some people seem to think.

I think this is normal tbh, we have pathetic fallacy thrown into our faces from such young age that we associate the rain with negative thoughts (although I get stupidly excited when it snows!)
But considering people have to make a huge effort to cheer you up and don't succeed makes this seem a little more serious, easier said than done but you need to stop depending your mood on weather.
Enjoy the sunshine but it is lovely to have a mix in the weather every now and then!
