Is it normal to have your feelings intensified

I smoked weed and I noticed how my feelings are more out there than when i'm not high. Like my feelings with appreciation, guilt, joy, oh and especially effort and all that, my brain just gets to work. When i'm not high, i'm just like a blob I just go with whatever like it's not easy to choose what I feel. I don't know if there is something wrong with that.

Based upon my many experiences with marijuana, I would say that this is normal. I have felt my emotions/feelings being intensified after smoking weed.

I don't think there is any strong research to explain why marijuana has this effect, but it probably has something to do with your brain. Maybe the THC in marijuana has an effect on your amygdala, which is the part of your brain responsible for controlling emotions.

Please don't use marijuana to evoke your emotion. If you are feeling emotionally numb or struggling to have emotions, you might be depressed. If you are depressed, there are other ways to feel your emotions. Try to find hobbies that make you happy or try exercising and good diet.

There is nothing wrong with that. That is one of the side effects of weed. It makes you become more creative and happier depending on how your mind takes the high.
