Is it normal to have your ex as your fwb (friend with benifits) ?

Ok so I have known my bestfriend/Ex-girlfriend for almost 11 years. We dated for over 4 months and decided that it just wasn't for us. However we discovered that we enjoyed each others love making skills so much, we began seeing each other for sex. We still hang out with friends and act just like friends, but when the other is in need of some FWB we heed that call. Is this normal?

It's normal but not necessarily a good idea, especially if one person (or both of you) still have feelings for the other person. I've done it and I think it made the breakup way more long and drawn out than it needed to be, because it just drew it out and made it longer. If you're going to do it, I advise that you do not sleep over at their place... it's really awkward waking up next to someone who you once would kiss and cuddle with and be all sweet with, but then you wake up next to them and its like "okay get going I have things to do today"...

I would have to agree with this comment. It's not at all healthy for either of you and although some people may do this I don't believe it is normal. It will inevitably end in one of you growing stronger feelings for the other and then it will end messy.

Salvage the friendship now and find another fuck buddy.

If that's what you want... but remember... you're just FWB with her then she has the choice to go out and date and have sex with other people too.

Which means you could end up in a situation where you're pissed that she's seeing someone else

My ex was my FWB for years. And then he got a girlfriend. She didn't like me much and I can't say I blame her. I didn't like me much either.
