Is it normal to have white the tongue?

Sometimes I see at my tongue and I have white rings on the tip of my tongue. Is it normal? Why is it? They sometimes dissapear.. they seem as if they were burns.. and they sometime appear bigger and sometimes smaller. Note: they don't hurt.. my tongue justs look white and I don't feel anything.

Have you been taking any steroids? I don't mean the kind that help you gain muscle, I mean the kind they give people who are sick or have breathing problems. I had that happen when I took steroids as a kid.

Are you thirsty? Do you breathe or sleep with your mouth open (mouth breather).

Your normal. But if something else starts to feel weird...get it checked out. Doctors don't ask you stick your tongue out for nothing.

^ Fine, white specs on the tongue normally means you are suffering from dehydration, go see a doctor or drink more water

Ignore these idiots above me, who have failed to post a relevant response.

I would get it checked out by a doctor, just to be on the safe side.
