Is it normal to have vivid dreams
I use to have very vivid dreams. I would sleep 7 to 8 hours and dream all night and when I woke I felt as though I had no sleep. It was like my brain did not shut off. I started to talk to friends and family members and found that some of them have the same problem. I found that we all had the same thing in common. We all are very neat and tidy people, we all are sensitive and we all tend to worry about everything. My friends and family members that were not so neat and tidy and were more care free said they do not remember their dreams.I did not understand why I have had these vivid dreams all my life, I do take any medications, I have never smoked, or drink alcohol, I do not have any caffeine after 5 pm. I sort of cured myself of my vivid dreams by turning off the television about an hour before bed, I take a hot relaxing bath, and I play online scrabble or other brain exercising games before bed. Play a game that is relaxing, don't play one that will get you frustrated. Give yourself a time that you will finish playing and stick to it. Sometimes you are enjoying the game so much that you lose track of time. These steps will help relax, exercise, and clear your mind. I still have vivid dreams, but not as often. Sweet dreams!
