Is it normal to have very large thighs?

I am 5'8 and 110 pounds, so I'm not overweight. However, I wear size 2 tops and size 8 pants because of my very large thighs. The rest of my legs is proportionate, but my knees and thighs look like those of someone 200 pounds or so. I have a flat stomach, normal hips and a small waist, which makes this very strange. Is this normal?

Same here. It's fairly normal. We all store fat in different areas.

I'm 5'9 and 110. you don't wear a size 8. You'd really have to weigh more than that???

If you're a girl it's pretty normal. Lots of girls gain weight in the thighs before anywhere else. It's actually better for your health in the long run compared to people who gain their weight in other areas.

Do Lunges to tone them up if you are worried about how they look.

If you're looking to be sexy.. your self confidence is sexier than the next girl w/o it whose body you would probably envy.

Unless you think you have swelling in your thighs or something, that's fine. People are shaped lots of different ways. If you're really concerned, you could ask your doctor, but I don't think it's anything to worry about.

I'm a guy, and I'm in a similar situation as you. My thighs and butt are naturally built big, but my body is also built big (just not big enough to be proportional to my thighs) I'm 5'10 and anytime I put pants on, my girlfriend tells me a lot of girls check out that area.

My girlfriend is built similar to me as well. However, she's only 5'2 and her thighs/butt look huge compared to her body. It's actually quite a turn on for me ;]

I would say this is normal. A lot of girls I know have big thighs and aren't overweight.

I guess it's a bit disconcerting for you but can I just say how lucky you are to have the thunder thighs AND the slim bits?

I've got thunder thighs, but have always been thick-boned even when slim (which I currently am anything but).

Frankly, I'm a little jealous. Also, if your weight goes there rather than elsewhere, it's healthier (So I've read).

I don't know if it's normal or not, but as a guy I certainly wouldn't find it unattractive.

It's difficult to form an opinion without a breast size but thick thighs are ok, it's just thick ankles that are uncool.

Wait, what? Do you mean that it's not normal for thighs to jiggle when you run?

No they must be long lean and muscular at all times ha I know it WA worded wrong

Now back to the OP`s creamy thighs, for some reason I imagined said thunder thighs jogging and turning heads. But back to teh subject, I've never seen such disproportional measurements, :-\
