Is it normal to have vagina farts while on your period?

Okay. So I got my period yesterday and last night I had two pretty intense vagina farts. It's pretty much like a regular fart except you don't know that it's coming and you have no control over it. It just happens. It basically leaves a bubbly feeling with the blood. This happens sometimes. I actually think it's kind of cool! Does it happen to anyone else???
