Is it normal to have uti symptoms after sex?

The day after every time my boyfriend and I have sex, I have typical UTI symptoms, but no UTI. I get the pressure, pain and burning but every time I go to the doctor I test out negative for any bacteria.
My boyfriend is gifted in size, could it be that it just goes so deep that I just get an irritated bladder?

try peeing after sex rather than before so you flush out your urethra and clean it . Make sure your guy cleans his equipment before sex as well

It's not that it's irritating your bladder. I get this same thing on occasion. Your urethra is probably just inflammed. This can happen from sex, it's nothing special, just super annoying. Maybe it's a different thing for you, but if you reach down to the opening of your vagina, there is a small hole at the very opening, if it's inflammed, it will feel larger. Like a small mass of flesh at the top entrance. If it feels bigger than usual, then he was just rubbing it when he went inside and it irritaed your urethra. A common sign and symptom of a UTI, but not one. I hate UTI's allot. This should clear up on it's own though. It's important to keep good hygiene, especially when your urethra is inflammed as it is more open and prone to infection. Best of luck

    • Yeah this makes sense, I was trying to look up what it could possibly be and found nothing. But yeah, it goes away on it's own but comes back like the day after we have sex a lot. It's so annoying!
