They aren't gay there just good friends who said lets adopt a child, thats me. Trust me they're not gay. One Dad works in banking while my other is at home and works part time at a surf shop. There just friends.
I think I saw something like that in a movie, and they weren't gay either. I'd say it's fine. Don't worry about who it is that's taking care of you, whether it's a man & woman, two women, or two men, you're just blessed that someone took you in. A lot of kids are still waiting for someone to adopt them.
Tis better than having only one parent, methinks. Definitely not normal though.
That's like the show from the 80s called "my two dads" I loved that show. Either way, I really think that's awesome. I wouldn't say it's common, it's unique. Which makes it even more so wonderful.
I'm the same way, I live with my grandmas. They are both just friends, but have lived together for ages. I think it's just a way to live to feel never truly alone.
Yeah, that is pretty cool. I've never heard of this before, but nothing wrong about it either.
...Well I wouldnt say its normal (which is rare for me to say about stories on here) but I think it would be interesting to be the child of two non homosexual guys who are best friends. My father was a drunk and I never saw him much so I wouldnt know if having just one father is good or not let alone two.
Lucky you. More people should think about adopting rather than excessive breeding. As far as parents are concerned, I don't think any of them are normal!

That's a tricky question. It isn't "normal" for sure, but it seems like it's a pretty awesome situation actually! Do they date women? Do you all live together?
That's definitely uncommon, but I don't think it's a bad thing. Just consider yourself lucky that you have people who are there for you :)
So what if they decide to date or marry? Who will take care of you?

That's so interesting! I'm voting no, it's not normal. Because well, it isn't. But I don't think that in these circumstances (and many others) that it is bad because it's not normal. In fact I think it's unfortunate that sometimes replies to a post are really answering the question "Is this okay?" not "Is this normal?"

It's also quite cool that you could potentially have two mother figures as well, without all the bitterness involved with a marriage/divorce/remarriage scenario.
