Is it normal to have tonsil stones?

I just found out what tonsil stones are and they appeared for the first time about two weeks ago. They smell horrible and my throat constantly feels unhygienic. I don't like this and I am wondering how many others have the same problem, and what their possible solutions are for it.

By the way, if you don't know what tonsil stones are, they are a build-up of bacteria in little caves in your tonsils. It feels like there is something stuck in the back of your throat and they often get coughed up. They are like tiny white or yellow solid nuggets that have a putrid smell, especially when squished.

No this is not normal. I had this and the ENT doctor removed the tonsils/adenoids because i used to get frequent sore throats.
I found out it was a symptom of systemic candida from being over-prescribed antibiotics since childhood.
I've since spent many years researching and much money on probiotics and supplements to get my immune system stronger again.
Doctors, Antibiotics, and the Standard American Diet are creating a health-destroying epidemic among Americans.

I get those occasionally. They're disgusting as fuck and make me ashamed to be a human being with intact tonsils.

If you get them constantly, you should see an ENT(ear, nose, throat specialist).

I actually had an ENT appointment yesterday, a follow up from going two weeks ago because I would get like 1-2 tonsil stones every so often and it grosses me out. So, they did blood work to see if I was allergic to anything imparticular that would cause them. Tests came back fine, so the ENT basically said mine are caused by irritants in the air and seasonal allergies and I shouldn't worry about them because mine aren't bad. Some people cough up handfuls, whereas the most I've had at once were like six when I had strep throat a year ago. Those were caused by the strep virus which is an infection.

Try not to opt for a tonsilectomy (tonsil removal), ENT says that tonsils create antibodies or something so you only want to get them removed if you have to.
